Code of Conduct
Street cruising by its very nature is driving your favourite car on public roads and using public car parks/venues. Therefore to ensure that our events are safe and can be enjoyed by all, and that our activities do not upset or cause concern for participants, public and police alike, we will apply a code of conduct to all our activities.
In line with our motto: Fun with family, friends and favourite cars
the team at Let’s Go Cruisin’ expects that when you decide to participate in an event as an entrant you & your car will comply with our 3 R’s.
- Registered – Your car will be legally registered
- Roadworthy – Your car will not be ‘obviously’ unroadworthy
- Responsible - you will conduct yourself as a responsible adult
This includes complying with all state and municipal laws applicable to any road/street/venue/car park.
As organizers, we reserve the right to refuse or revoke your entry at any event if we deem you or your car to be in breach of any of our 3 R’s, or you fail to comply with directions given by a Let’s Go Cruisin’ official.
If you want to:
- drive to our event in an unregistered car
- drive to our event in an ‘obviously’ unroadworthy car
- exceed any speed limit
- perform ‘hoonish’ behaviour at or in proximity to our event
- get intoxicated in public
- get aggressive or be abusive to others
then a Let’s Go Cruisin’ event is not for you!
All car enthusiast events require the support of local police and local by laws officers. It is a fact that irresponsible behaviour by anyone driving a street cruiser whether they are an entrant at our event or not, undermines our ability to organize cruises utilizing public roads and public venues.
If LGC is to retain the freedom required to run great events for your enjoyment, we need the positive support of local businesses, officials, local police and the general public.
As a participant, whether you realize it or not, you have a large influence in helping us to continue having responsible fun with our favourite cars.
