Cruise to Benalla & Euroa
October 6/7th 2018
We invite LGC Cruisers and all pre ’75 car enthusiasts to join in our weekend cruise to celebrate the return of daylight saving. A scenic cruise starting from Healesville, staying in Benalla on Saturday night Oct 6th and cruising back to Euroa for the National Car Show on Sunday morning Oct 7th.
Saturday Cruise to Benalla
Cruise convoy starts from the Beechworth Bakery car park in Healesville departing at 11am.
Cruise route takes in the scenic ‘Black Spur’, passing through Narbethong, Buxton, Taggerty and Alexandra with a lunch stop at Yarck after one hour of cruisin. There’s a hotel, café and a well-regarded bakery to choose from for lunch.
We depart Yarck at 1:00pm cruisin on the Midland Hwy past Lake Eildon & Lake Nillahcootie arriving in Benalla around 2:30pm.
Check into accommodation and meet at 4 pm for an hour’s walk around Benalla’s outstanding ‘Street Art’.
Cruise entrants Dinner at local sporting club.
Don’t forget to set your clocks one hour forward before heading for bed.
Sunday Cruise to National Car Show in Euroa
Meet at a designated location in Benalla at 8am [daylight saving time] to cruise to Euroa which is only 48 kms south on the Hume Freeway. By arriving together, we get to park together and fly an LGC banner or two.

Cruise entrants arrange own accommodation. There is a wide range of accommodation to suit all needs & budgets available in Benalla.
We have driven this route recently and road is mostly in good condition.
Mornington to Healesville is 94 kms &1hr 25 mins.
Healesville to Yarck is 82 kms & 1hr 5mins.
Yarck to Benalla is 98kms & 1hr 10 mins.
