Cruise Night - April 2014

Unseasonably warm weather for April encouraged around 300 car owners to cruise to our monthly cruise night. The other attraction was the drawing of winners in our annual Grand Prize draw for all our Cruiser subscribers.

Come presentation time we reversed the usual procedures and drew winners in the night’s entrant gate raffle first. It took a while to flush out winners for some reason but we managed to find happy winners of two Dyno Tune vouchers supplied by Chev’s Performance in Carrum Downs, a service voucher from Col warren Automotive and 3 ACDelco car care packs.

Then it was time to find the winners of the $4000 worth of prizes on offer to paid up subscribers in our Cruiser program.
First name out was Greg McAleese from Cranbourne.
Second out was Darren Paine from Berwick
Third out was Peter Cliffe from Frankston.
And last out was Rod Gardner from Nerrim South.

These four winners will be dividing up the Ford Windsor Aluminum Cylinder Heads supplied by the Frankston Engine Centre, a $1000 voucher from Hoppers Stoppers in Hoppers Crossing, an $800 voucher from the Radiator Workshop in Mornington and a $720 voucher for media blasting supplied by EnviroBlast. Our thanks to these four businesses for their support of our Cruiser program this year.

This was last cruise night benefitting from daylight saving for this cruising season, so the 7pm presentation next month will be under lights. Our thanks to the members of the Mt Martha Rotary Club who have provided the sausage sizzle and extra help with traffic marshalling over the last six months.

Hopefully it'll still warm & dry in May! See you then.
