April 21-22 V8 SuperBoats & Car, Ute, Motorbike Display Day on the Newcastle Foreshore. The super-boats will be time trialing on Saturday and racing on Sunday. You will be able to walk amongst them and talk to the drivers, see them being craned into the water for their races. There will be an awesome Ute muster on Saturday with prizes being offered in the afternoon for the standouts. We are also working on a trailer boat display for both days

The Australian International Motor show (AIMS) is an annual auto show held biennially between Melbourne and Sydney. Both cities have a long running history of motor shows, Melbourne held an annual show from 1925 - 2009 establishing it as Australia’s longest running motor show. From 2004 the Sydney Motor Show adopted the name Australian International Motor Show, this was in respect of the global prestige the show had developed, being recognised globally in the top ten automotive shows. Prior to the staging of the 2008 Sydney show, the Organisers - the Federal Chamber of Automotive Industries (FCAI) met with the Melbourne motor show organisers - the Victorian Automobile Chamber of Commerce (VACC). It was announced after the culmination of these discussions on February 3rd, 2009 that the FCAI and VACC would partake in a Joint Venture, alternating the show between the two cities. Dec 1 Ford Day / GM Day Queanbeyan Showground 10am to 3pm. ‚€®Open to all makes & models of Ford & GM vehicles, one half of the oval is Ford Day and the other half of the oval is GM Day (run in conjunction with the Queanbeyan Swap Meet) Car entry $5 per vehicle, cars to be in place by 9am if possible. Judging starts at 11am, car show starts at 10am, swap meet starts at 6.30am. (Cars can be placed on oval early so you can check out the swap meet before the All Ford Day / All GM Day!) Dec 1-2 Queanbeyan Swap Meet This is an all types, all makes swap meet, outside sites are $20 per day for a 6x6 metre site, at the same venue on the Saturday there will be a Ford Day/GM Day car show and on the Sunday there will be the American Car Nationals car show. Spectator entry is $4 per person. Swap site holders can set up any time from Friday midday onwards. Open to spectators at 6am Saturday.
