28 Jan The Wrest Point South East Rally is an annual event held every January, organized by the PVCC. The premier yearly event of the PVCC, this rally is a time trial held over one day on the picturesque roads of Southern Tasmania. The event is open to all types of classic and vintage cars and is not restricted to PVCC members. There are two separate average speed classes, so all types and ages of cars are catered for. During the week leading up to the rally there are car displays at Parliament House and Mawson Place, giving the public a taste of what they will see on rally day. Everyone who has an interest in classic and vintage cars should make time to head down to the displays and check out the cars. After a day of touring the rally ends with a delicious meal. 5 Feb HeartKids Car Show, Josef Chromy Vineyard. HeartKids Car Show being held at Josef Chromy Vineyard, 5th February 2012. Heartkids, in conjunction with Aussiecoupes.net, are holding an enormous fundraising event on February 5th 2012, at Josef Chromy Vineyard to support the HeartKids Tasmanian branch. HeartKids is a unique Not-for-Profit organisation, in that it is the only organisation dedicated to supporting all facets of Childhood Heart Disease (CHD). There is a tremendous number of families based in Tasmania that have children with varying forms of CHD, and for these families the facilities that are required are based in NSW or Melbourne, meaning time away from home, employment and at the same time these families face the stress and worry of having a child with CHD. The February event is set in the lovely grounds of Josef Chromy Vineyard, well known for its lush greenery and First Class venue facilities. Not only do we have the backing of Josef Chromy’s, but also The Spirit of Tasmania, Shannons Insurance, Southern Cross and The Examiner to name a few, are on board supporting this wonderful event. As the nature of this event is far exceeding our earlier expectations, we would love to welcome the opportunity to have you come on board as a sponsor, either in a small or large capacity, like donating Sausages, Soft Drink, Advertising etc.:. The publicity to date has meant that the event coverage has reached Australia wide, with participants coming in from many other states to take part in the event.
